TERMS AND CONDITIONS (T&C)
1. Introductory Provisions
These Terms and Conditions govern the mutual rights and obligations between the service provider of HOP HOP English (hereinafter referred to as the “Provider”) and the class participants (hereinafter referred to as the “Participant”). The Participant is a parent, legal guardian, or caregiver who completes a reservation for a class or a block of classes.
2. Registration and Class Booking
Registration for individual classes and entire blocks is mandatory and must be completed using the reservation form on the Provider’s website.
To ensure individual attention and maximum comfort for the children, class capacities are strictly limited (maximum of 8 children with a parent). Therefore, early booking is highly recommended.
A spot in a block of classes or a single class is fully guaranteed only after the issued invoice has been paid in full.
3. Prices and Payments
Current prices for blocks and single classes are listed in the price list on the Provider’s website.
Payment is cashless and based on an invoice sent to the Participant’s email address. The payment must be credited to the Provider’s account before the start of the first class.
Switching from a Single Class to a Full Block: If a Participant purchases a single class and subsequently decides to continue for the entire block, the price of this already paid single class will be deducted from the total price of the block. The Participant will then only pay the remaining balance for the rest of the classes in that block.
4. Class System, Cancellations, and Absence Policy
A) Block of Classes (Term Course)
By purchasing a full block, the Participant receives 8 classes, with a total of 9 dates scheduled within that specific period.
One week within the block serves as an automatic backup for illness or vacation. In the event of a single absence, the Participant does not lose the class and does not need to arrange complex make-up sessions.
The Participant can cancel their attendance for a specific class no later than 3 hours before it starts. In this case, the session is not forfeited, and they can use the remaining scheduled dates in the block.
If the Participant fails to cancel in time (less than 3 hours before the start) or does not show up at all, the class is counted as attended, and the fee for it is forfeited without compensation.
Unused classes out of the 9 scheduled dates (e.g., due to long-term absence) cannot be transferred to the next block, and the course fee is non-refundable. Paid fees for classes are non-refundable. If the Participant can no longer attend the course for serious reasons, the remaining classes may be transferred to another person upon agreement.
B) Single Classes
A purchased single class must be used within the currently running block of classes (any of the 9 scheduled dates can be chosen, subject to available capacity).
The same cancellation policy applies to single classes – cancellation must be made at least 3 hours before the start, otherwise the payment is forfeited.
5. Class Cancellation by the Provider
If a class is cancelled due to reasons on the Provider’s side (e.g., illness of the instructor), participants will be offered a make-up date. Participants will be informed of any class cancellations in advance via SMS or email.
6. Liability
The Provider is not liable for any injuries that occur as a result of inappropriate behavior by participants or failure to follow the instructor’s guidelines.
Participants (parents/caregivers) are fully responsible for their children, their safety, and their behavior throughout the duration of the classes.
7. Personal Data Protection (GDPR)
The Provider processes the personal data of participants (name, email, phone number) in accordance with applicable data protection regulations. Participants agree that their personal data will be used solely for the purposes of class organization, invoicing, and communication.
These Terms and Conditions are valid from June 1, 2026.
